Zumbi, We Love You:
It’s a bittersweet moment writing this. In one of his last songs ever written, Zumbi (legendary MC of Zion I) delivers a much needed rap tonic. Funky and alive, ‘Love Dealers’ puts an ironic twist on the image of drug dealers, revealing the greatest drug of all–Love. Hints of dub reggae, 808s & funk basses form a retro foundation for a classic boom-bap hit that feels like it jumped out of the 70’s. Rest In Power Zumbi. Zumbi speaks of the reverence and union of man and woman. Love Dealers and at the same time it's really bitter sweet. We had the amazing honor of collaborating with Zion on this track.It was our great honor to finish a collaboration track with Zion I In the first year of streaming, we will be giving all proceeds from our song to Zumbi’s family through the GoFundMe
