After a serendipitous meeting on the Traveling with the Spirit Tour, Flowmads found they had a lot in common with the humble rapper Scarub and proposed a they create a song together. After pining down the beat, which Flowmads had already begun to write hooks and rhymes too, Scarub took the inspiration and wrote one of the most vivid and evocative verses telling the figurative tale of a good hearted space outlaw on the search for star bucks on a never ending marathon.
As the prechorus proclaims: we are who we are. It's been a major theme for the Flowmads, always celebrating all kinds of people from all walks of life and encouraging that diversity and inclusion be primary to our culture. Not conforming to unjust laws, and pursuing your own truth, lie at the heart of this song's message.
