Behind the song: Blessings
The crafting of this song actually took place over many years. An ogirinal beat, which actually began as a remix of a little know song called Shinnin' released by Seancy on his Free Your Mind Ep, was the basis for this track and helped spark the idea for the original hook written by KBong. The beat went through a large number of iterations,and many, many verse were written and re-written by the duo; until finally, all the heads were knodding. They knew from the beginning that they had something special here, and the perseverance paid off.
Interesting History:
Kevin Bong and Cizflow both used to play in a San Diego reggae band called Hi-Roots. Both hailed from the island state of Hawaii and shared a love of music. It was through being in the band together that led Cizflow to meet Seancy one fateful afternoon at a pool party. KBong on the guitar with a mic and Seancy with his cane making freestyles.

After being draw so deftly, the duo vowed to keep animating themselves in many different styles and with many different themes inspired by their cultural upbringings and favorite pop culture references. The guys were introduced by KBong to Justin and the rest is history.
